49ers RB Frank Gore Named NFC Offensive Player Of The Week

San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore was named the NFC offensive player of the week for the fourth time in his career after rushing for 167 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers’ 24-9 victory over the Arizona Cardinals last night.

“It was good to see,” coach Mike Singletary said. “Jimmy Raye and I have been taking about it, making sure we that combination of getting him the ball and making sure we have the right personnel to do that. And I thought Jimmy did a nice job of accomplishing that.”
