Bengals Agree To One-Year Deal With WR Terrell Owens
with the Cincinnati Bengals, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Tuesday.
According to the source, the deal also includes another $2 million in incentives.
Owens spent last season with the Buffalo Bills. He caught 55 passes for 829 yards and hauled in five touchdowns as the Bills finished the season 6-10.
The St. Louis Rams dropped out of the bidding for Owens on Monday and a source told Schefter earlier Tuesday the New York Jets expressed interest in the 36-year old wide receiver.
Owens was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round in 1996 out of the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. He has split his 14-year career between San Francisco, the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo.

I really couldn't buy the idea that TO would sit out an entire NFL season without being picked up by someone for something. This does make for two interesting scenario's. One the AFC North just got a tad bid more interesting…not to say that TO will be a huge difference maker but he will make a difference. And the Ravens will have a little ore competition than before. And two, what will we say about Chad when it's all said and done…was he THAT good or was he only as good as his sidekicks made him look. Cue TJ Whourmama and now TO?
Food for thought you do the dishes…*wink*
Me either but I knew that #81 was going to have to lower that $5 Million price tag in order for him to get any kind of offers.
