Bengals Set To Release WR Antonio Bryant
According to Bob Glauber of Newsday reports that the Bengals are about to release veteran wide receiver Antonio Bryant.
This comes just months after the Bengals signed Bryant to a four-year, $28 million contract.
Bryant’s bad knee turned out to be worse than originally expected.
Along with the bad knee, you have to believe that the signing of Terrell Owens, his price tag and the emergence of Andre Caldwell and rookie wide receiver Jordan Shipley has something to do with this release as well.
The 49ers and Buccaneers also released Bryant because of the bad knee as well.
Is this the end of Antonio Bryant’s career?
