Bills Release QB Trent Edwards
After a 30-point scoring performance from Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick in a loss at New England, the team has decided to release quarterback Trent Edwards in a surprise move that came a week after he lost the starting job for a second straight season.
Edwards release was announced on the team’s website this morning.
Edwards was a third round of the 2007 draft out of Stanford and went 14-18 as a starter, including 0-2 this season.
The Bills will carry two quarterbacks on the roster with Brian Brohm being the only other quarterback on the roster.
