BREAKING NEWS: Michael Vick Signs Two-Year Deal With Eagles

Former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick signs a two-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. The news was announced Thursday night on ESPN by Chris Mortensen via Vick’s agent Joel Siegel.
The Eagles second string quarterback Kevin Kolb was injured earlier this week and the Eagles needed someone to fill in and I guess they feel Vick is there man.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell conditionally lifted Vick’s suspension, allowing him to sign with a team. Vick will have a chance to practice and play in the preseason with the Eagles, but will have to sit the first four games of the season.
The first year of the deal is for $1.6 million deal with an option for the second year at $5.2 million, FoxSports.com reports.
Was this a smart move by the Eagles?

Vick is back. The eagles are an interesting place for him to land. Reid has a history of having a great backup QB so this shuodln't be a surprise, well see how they use him.
Im curious to see what andy reid is going to do with vick. Good since kolbs been hurt and when mcnabb inevitably gets hurt this seawson, vick should be an incredible replacement
