Buccaneers To Start QB Josh Johnson; Leftwich Demoted To Third String

In Monday’s press conference Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris announced that second-year quarterback Josh Johnson would starting next week vs the Redskins.

Morris also announced that rookie quarterback Josh Freeman would be the second quarterback and former starter Byron Leftwich will be the third quarterback.

This decision came after an 0-3 start finalized by a 24-0 loss at home to the New York Giants.
