Buccaneers Trade DE Gaines Adams To The Bears For A Second Round Pick
ESPN’s Adam Schefter announced via Twitter that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have traded defensive end Gaines Adams to the Chicago Bears for what is thought to be a 2010 second round draft pick.
Adams was the fourth overall pick in 2007 and was brought in to replace the great Simeon Rice and bring a bonafide pass rush back to the Bucs defense.
I believe this is the proverbial give up slide by Tampa Bay, they know they have a horrible team and now they are trying to trade what they can for draft picks so they can get better in the future.

Adams failed to impress the Buccaneers as a former high first-round pick, but still has loads of potential, and could benefit from a fresh start in Chicago.
