Celtics Looking At Acquiring Marbury From Knicks
The Boston Celtics are looking at acquiring disgruntled point guard Stephon Marbury from the New York Knicks to bolster there roster for their championship run.
The deal has only one hurdle, Marbury has to somehow negotiate his release from the Knicks.
It’s been almost a year since Marbury has played in a regular season game and it seems that he will be making his 2008-2009 season debut with the Boston Celtics.
The Celtics have depth concerns after losing guard/forward James Posey to the Hornets and “officially retired” power forward P.J. Brown from last year’s championship team.
Marbury would definetly bring an offensive presence coming off the Celtics bench and would be a huge addition to the team. Good Luck Stephon on getting this deal done.
