Chargers Coach Norv Turner Says There’s A “Sense Of Urgency”

San Diego Chargers head coach Norv Turner, quoted in the Boston Globe when asked if his team has a sense of desperation after a 2-4 start:

“I don’t like the term ‘sense of desperation’ because I don’t know that you operate at the highest level you can when you have a sense of desperation. I think there’s a great sense of urgency.” Added Turner: “As I said, if you start in the mind-set of being desperate, I think you start doing things that keep you from accomplishing what you want, so no doubt there’s a sense of urgency.”
