Chargers May Trade Pro Bowl WR Vincent Jackson

The San Diego Chargers could end up trading Pro Bowl receiver Vincent Jackson, who is planning to hold out as a result of not signing his restricted free-agent tender. If he sticks to his guns, he could miss the first 10 games of the season before returning to qualify for an accrued season.

There has been talk for several days that Jackson could end up being traded. Teams that could be interested include Seattle, Washington, Chicago and Denver, according to ESPN.com AFC West blogger Bill Williamson. In fact, Washington HC Mike Shanahan has long been a big Jackson fan, nearly drafting him in 2005 in the second round when Broncos took the late Darrent Williams at No. 56. Jackson was next on Denver’s draft board.
