Chargers Sign Veteran WR Kelley Washington

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the San Diego Chargers have signed veteran wide receiver Kelley Washington.

Washington did not make the Eagles roster out of training camp this year after catching 34 passes for 431 yards and two touchdowns for Baltimore in 2009.

The 31-year-old University of Tennessee product joins an injury plagued receiving corp that has put Buster Davis on injured reserve earlier in the week and has also been without Legedu Naanee and Malcom Floyd due to hamstring injuries.
