Chiefs Offensive Coordinator Charlie Weis Has Surgery For An Infected Gall Bladder

Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Charlie Weis had surgery Monday for an infected gall bladder.

Weis’ agent, Bob LaMonte, confirmed the news to the Kansas City Star. Weis was first diagnosed with the ailment on Friday morning, but put off surgery until after Sunday’s win against the San Francisco 49ers.

“He didn’t bother to do anything other than live through 48 hours of pain,” LaMonte told the paper. “He’s a tough dude.”

LaMonte told the Star that Weis should be released from the hospital on today and isn’t expected to miss any games.

Hi! I believe my gall bladder is also infected. I have had necrotizing fasciitis of the pelvis and hips.
I've just had a Gallium scan for infection (chronic). I believe the radiologist missed this as well as the pelvic bones infected, peritonitis of the pelvis on the right side as well. I referred to my last mri.
I looked at the abdomen pictures. Just underneath the liver is two rather large areas enhanced by the gadolinium…on top is free air, meaning a gas put off by the bacteria. I've had severe pain going through to my back. I've gained alot of weight but I'm not eating fattening foods. The most I've gained in the past is 5 pounds…I'm twice the weight I was before. From what I've read, the bile breaks down the fat brought into the body. If this isn't working correctly, (meaning gall bladder) then I'll put on a whole lot of weight. I truly hope you are going well! If you have any ideas that you wish to share email . Again I hope your doing much better!
