Chiefs Re-Sign WR Chris Chambers To Three-Year Deal

The Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed wide receiver Chris Chambers to a three year deal, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The total value of the deal could reach $15 million and there are $5.9 million in guarantees, Schefter reports.

This is excellent news for the Chiefs. He was one of a handful of unrestricted free agents that the Chiefs let hit the market.

He was considered a priority in the offseason. He reportedly drew some interest from the Cincinnati Bengals but nothing much came of it.

Chambers was far and away the best deep threat on the Chiefs last season. In nine games, he amassed 608 yards and four touchdowns so this is a big bonus for Matt Cassel as well.
