Cowboys Defeat Bengals In Hall Of Fame Game 16-7
The 2010 NFL Preseason began Sunday night when the Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals squared off in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio.
The Cowboys defeated the Bengals 16-7, but scored just one touchdown, which came courtesy of a Brandon Sharpe six-yard interception return.
Dallas’ offense was lethargic all night with the exception of the lone series from Tony Romo and the first-team offense. Romo guided the team on a 62-yard drive that stalled near the goal line, setting up the first of three David Buehler field goals.
The Bengals offense didn’t fair much better, but did show that Terrell Owens will play a large role this season.
Carson Palmer found T.O. twice for 18 yards in their two series on the field.
Chad Ochocinco did not catch a pass.
The Bengals only touchdown — the only offensive touchdown of the game — came in the closing minutes of the game when Darius Hill caught a one yard pass from Jordan Palmer.
