Cowboys Hire Former Browns Defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Dallas Cowboys have decided on former Cleveland Browns defensive coordinator Rob Ryan to take the same position in Dallas. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had three other candidates in mind but they all took other positions.

Ryan is a perfect fit in Dallas because he’s used to running a 3-4 defense and with the amount of talent Dallas has on defense, this should be like a kid waking up on Christmas morning for Ryan, a bunch shiny new great toys to play with.

Having this job on his resume could open up doors for Ryan. This is a perfect way to build your reputation in the league as he tries to become an NFL head coach.
