Cowboys LB Anthony Spencer Fined For Helmet To Helmet On Michael Vick

After weeks of complaining about the amount of hits that Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has taken during the 2010 season, the cries were finally heard by the NFL.

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Anthony Spencer was fined $12,500 by the NFL for his second quarter helmet to helmet hit on Vick during Sunday’s game.

Spencer had another questionable hit out of bounds on Vick in the first quarter that Eagles head coach Andy Reid and his players felt was worthy of a penalty.

Spencer’s fine is taking a nice chunk of change out his pocket, considering that it represents 30% of his weekly check.
