Now that draft day is here, can he show the same kind of restraint or will the infamous Trader Jerry re-emerge?

That is one of the big unknowns heading into the 2010 NFL Draft, which begins with the first round tonight and runs through Saturday.

After not having a pick in the first two rounds last season, the Cowboys this year have a pick in every round except the fifth, beginning with the 27th overall pick.

“This is obviously an important time for us,” Jones said. “We think this is a deep draft and we have an opportunity early to do some good in it.”

The Cowboys have needs following the release of left tackle Flozell Adams and free safety Ken Hamlin last month. They will take a player at each of those positions at some point in the draft.
