Cowboys QB Tony Romo Added To NFC Pro Bowl Roster

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will be making his third Pro Bowl appearance after being named as the replacement today for Minnesota’s Brett Favre.

Romo will see some familiar faces in Fort Lauderdale this week. He will join Jason Witten, Miles Austin, DeMarcus Ware, Jay Ratliff, Leonard Davis and Terence Newman on the NFC roster as well as the Cowboys’ coaches.

Romo threw 26 touchdown passes in 2009 and had a career-low nine interceptions. He also set team records in attempts (550), completions (347), yards (4,483) and 300-yard games (eight).

The NFC quarterbacks will now be Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers, Philadelphia’s Donovan McNabb and Romo. The original troika was New Orleans’ Drew Brees, Favre and Rodgers.
