Cowboys QB Tony Romo Suffers A Sore Back Against The Redskins

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo took a knee to the back while taking down DeAngelo Hall after a first-half fumble. Romo says he doesn’t think it will keep out of the Thanksgiving Day game against the Oakland Raiders.

“As long as it’s not a broken bone that keeps you from missing time,” Romo said. “I felt like with the adrenaline of the game you can always play. It hurts right before the snap and right after.”

His teammates expressed some worry because he was off target during the game.

“He kind of got up slow and you could tell he was sore,” tight end Jason Witten said. “I could tell by his throws he was bothered a little bit by it. But that was a big play by him. If he doesn’t make that tackle it’s probably a touchdown.”
