As we know now, Dallas Cowboys left tackle Flozell Adams has been fined $50,000 for his shove of New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck from Sunday.

This is four fines for five infractions. I misunderstood the release. Adams was fined $12,500 for his trip of Tuck and kick of Osi Umenyiora in Week 2. He also had the unecessary roughness penalty vs. Tampa Bay and Carolina.

In a letter to Adams, NFL Executive Vice President of Football Operations Ray Anderson wrote “Future infractions of the types you have committed may lead to increased disciplinary action up to and including suspension.”

Adams will appeal the fine like he has the others. He had the appeals heard recently but the results are not known.
