Cowboys WR Miles Austin May Miss 3 Weeks With Hamstring Injury
According to , Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin may miss three weeks with an injured hamstring suffered in a 27-24 comeback win against the 49ers on Sunday afternoon.
Austin seemingly re-injured the hamstring during the fourth quarter after catching a touchdown pass. This is the same hamstring that bothered him during the preseason. Austin sat out of the overtime period and will have the injury re-evaluated today.
Austin had a great game catching nine passes for 143 yards and three touchdowns. The Cowboys will face the 2-0 Washington Redskins in their home opener next Sunday afternoon and head coach Jason Garrett would love to have Austin in the lineup for this division rivalry game.
