Cris Collinsworth: Cowboys Will Win Super Bowl If They Beat The Vikings

After notching their first playoff win in more 13 years last weekend, the Cowboys are picking up believers.

NBC analyst Cris Collinsworth said this morning that he thinks a Super Bowl trophy being raised in Dallas is very feasible.

“I do think if Dallas wins this one, they win the Super Bowl,” Collinsworth said on the Dan Patrick radio show. The Cowboys visit the Vikings this weekend in the divisional playoffs.

The Cowboys’ stout defense, which finished the season with two straight shutouts and held the Eagles to 14 points in a wild-card win last weekend, could be a big reason for their rise.

“It’s a defense that has become complete,” Collinsworth told Patrick.

Six of the eight panelists at USA TODAY’s picked the Cowboys to beat the Vikings this weekend.
