DeMaurice Smith Working With Roger Goodell On New CBA Deal

NFL Players Association executive director DeMaurice Smith said he is working with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on a new collective bargaining agreement that would run through the 2016 season, reports FOXSports.com’s Alex Marvez.

Smith said there has been some progress, but the Players Association wants the teams to release detailed financial information before a deal can be done. Goodell has denied the request and does not appear to change his mind in the near future.
