Denard Robinson’s 200 Rushing Yards And 3 Touchdowns Lead Michigan Past San Diego State 28-7

Michigan Wolverines quarterback Denard Robinson did again on Saturday afternoon what he does better than any quarterback and that’s run all over opposing defenses.

Robinson finished the game with 93 passing yards and rushing for exactly 200 yards on 21 carries and three touchdowns to lead the No. 22 ranked Wolverines past San Diego State 28-7 moving Michigan’s record to 4-0 for the season.

Robinson, who was supposed to be in the pocket more this year, has rushed for 398 yards and four touchdowns the past two games and is far from that in passing yards so far this year.

Wolverines head coach Brady Hoke, who left San Diego State to take his current position, gave long embraces to Aztecs assistants and players, including long embraces with defensive linemen J.J. Autele and Larry Gibbs.

The Wolverines will open up Big Ten play against the Minnesota Golden Gophers next Saturday at 12pm EST.
