Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has been known for two things throughout his career and that is playing through injuries and blowing games in the fourth quarter. Romo quieted both of those believes on Sunday afternoon bringing the Cowboys back to beat the 49ers 27-24 after being down through three quarters.

Romo left the game early with a cracked rib but came back to lead the Cowboys to victory. After re-evaluating his injury, it was found that Romo also suffered a punctured lung in the process.

As a Cowboys fan, I gained a lot of respect for Romo after that performance. My biggest beef with him was playing through injuries and he did that on Sunday. He proved to me that he’s a tough quarterback that can play through pain and lead his team to a win.

Romo needs to do this for a full season and then I will be comfortable with the Cowboys quarterback position. It will take more than one performance to make me believe.
