Dillard High School (FL) safety Wayne Lyons went into Saturday’s U.S. Army All-American Bowl knowing what college he would spend the next few years of his life and made his decision live from San Antonio committing to the University of Stanford.

Lyons, the validictorian of his senior class with a 5.0 GPA, decided to go the most academic of the top notch talented schools in the FCS.

Lyons is a hard-hitting, physical defensive back with all the tools needed to develop into a great strong safety at major college level. He lacks ideal height but is well-built and is very tough. Lyons looks to be a similar player and student at Stanford that Myron Rolle was at Florida State.
