Dolphins Looked At Trading RB Ronnie Brown For WR Braylon Edwards

The Miami Herald reports that the Miami Dolphins looked into the possibility of trading running back Ronnie Brown for then Cleveland Browns wide receiver Braylon Edwards, but the team felt they were happy with Brown and his performance so far this year.

Coming into Monday night’s game against the Jets, Brown was the second leading rushing in the AFC and was second in the NFL in rushing touchdowns.

“We do our due diligence on all the things that might be, could be, should be,” head coach Tony Sparano said. “No question about that. I think everybody needs to understand we did that. But from our end, we are quite content with the people we have right now. We have a good group of people. This is the right 53 people.”
