Eagles QB Michael Vick Leads 2011 Pro Bowl Voting

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has by far been the most popular player in the NFL this year and it’s been proven so far this according to league fans from everywhere.

Vick leads all vote-getters for the 2011 NFL Pro Bowl. Vick has an amazing received 729,838 votes.

Even though Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning is having a down year, he’s second in voting with 691,146 and a player who’s been on fire recently, New England’s Tom Brady, is third with 623,074.

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is the only non-quarterback in the top seven vote-getters receiving 591,598 votes ranking fourth in the voting.

Vick had this to say after receiving news that he was the top vote-getter:

“I think it’s just a credit to everything I’ve tried to accomplish on and off the field, just working as hard as I can to change things around, be a part of the solution and not the problem,” Vick said. “I changed my life, and it just goes to show anybody can do it. It’s an unfortunate situation, the things that happened. I wish I could go back and change it all. I wish I could take it all back. The only thing I can do is move forward.” – (source)

Vick has not only been popular, but he has the stats to go with it.

He has 2,243 passing yards, 15 passing touchdowns, leads all quarterbacks in rushing touchdowns with six, has thrown only two interceptions, which is less than all starting quarterbacks and is second behind only Tom Brady in passer rating with 105.7.
