Eagles Reach Agreement With Former Titans QB Vince Young

According to NFL Network’s Albert Breer, the Philadelphia Eagles have reached a one-year contract agreement with former Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young. He will sign the deal tomorrow.

Young, the third overall pick in the 2006 draft, has known of the Titans plans to release him since January and will now serve as backup to arguably the most exciting quarterback in the NFL, Michael Vick.

The Eagles opened up a spot for Young earlier in the day after trading Vick’s former backup Kevin Kolb to the Cardinals earlier Thursday afternoon.

What interests me is what number Vince Young will wear since the #10 that he’s worn forever belongs to holdout wide receiver DeSean Jackson. Maybe they will give him Kolb’s old number, LOL.
