ESPN’s Adam Schefter Is No College Football Historian

ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter may have the phones of every NFL team tapped but he’s far from a college football historian.

Just a few minutes ago, Schefter tried to give a lift to the Michigan Wolverine fans by announcing the Twitter name of Heisman Trophy Winner and Wolverine great Desmond Howard, the only problem was, his presentation wasn’t the best.

Schefter said, Howard was Michigan’s last Heisman Trophy Winner. Now, anyone who knows college football and/or a Michigan Wolverine fan, knows that he is clearly incorrect. Green Bay Packers cornerback Charles Woodson was the last Michigan Heisman Trophy Winner.

Just thought that it was funny that a “football guy” didn’t know his “football history”
