Falcons CB Dunta Robinson Fined $50,000 For Hit On DeSean Jackson

The NFL fined Falcons cornerback Dunta Robinson $50,000 for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson in Sunday’s game.

Both players stayed on the ground for minutes before being helped off the field. Jackson’s concussion had been reported as “severe,” while Robinson suffered a concussion of his own.

NFL executive VP of football operations Ray Anderson said in letters to each of the three players fined on Tuesday, “Future offenses will result in an escalation of fines up to and including suspension.”
