Falcons Release LB Robert James After Serving Four-Game Suspension

The Atlanta Falcons have announced the release of linebacker Robert James after he served a four-game suspension to start the regular season.

James was originally drafted by the Falcons in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL draft. He appeared in one game for the Falcons, seeing action on special teams in the 2009 season finale at Tampa Bay.
