Falcons Schedule Private Workout With Missouri LB Sean Weatherspoon

Missouri Tigers linebacker Sean Weatherspoon has been scheduled for a private workout Wednesday with the Atlanta Falcons on campus.

Weatherspoon met with Falcons owner Arthur Blank, general manager Tom Dimitroff and coach Mike Smith at the NFL scouting combine.

Weatherspoon posted a 40-inch vertical leap at the combine.

He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.52 seconds at his campus Pro Day workout out, also bench pressing 225 pounds 35 times.

Last season, he recorded 104 tackles, 14 1/2 for losses and 4 1/2 sacks.

Two seasons ago, he registered 155 tackles.

He’s regarded as one of the top all-around linebacker prospects.
