Five-Star Recruit Cyrus Kouandjio Chooses Alabama Over Auburn
According to Alabama redshirt freshman , the older brother of Cyrus Kouandjio, tweeted that he will playing his college football at the University of Alabama.
Kouandjio faxed over his signed letter of intent to Alabama on Saturday morning.
Kouandjio announced on Wednesday’s National Signing Day that he was going to sign with Auburn during an ESPNU telecast but never faxed the letter and began to second guess his decision after making the announcement.
Kouandjio confirmed his brother’s tweet by putting this message on his Facebook page:
“Thanks for all the love and support from the state of Alabama,” Kouandjio wrote on his Facebook wall. “love all the new relationships i have made throughout this process. . but at the end of the day. . ima keep the fam together and i must say. . . . ROOLLLLL TTIIIDDDEEE!!!”
The signing of Kouandjio may have put Alabama over Florida State as the No. 1 rated signing day class for 2011.
