Florida State CB Greg Reid Arrested On Multiple Charges

Florida State Seminoles cornerback and return specialist Greg Reid was arrested Monday on charges of resisting arrest and perjury.

Reid, who has been suspended once already this year for violating team rules, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. by Tallahassee police and booked at the Leon County Jail. He bonded out immediately.

Reid didn’t play in Saturday’s 35-30 loss at Clemson due to a bruised right knee he suffered in the 23-13 loss to Oklahoma on Sept. 17.

Reid has been a valuable asset to the Seminoles team throughout his career, playing the role of shutdown corner in the secondary and has been excellent on special teams, evident by him leading the nation in punt returns as a freshman in 2009.
