Former Colts QB Art Schlichter Linked To Sports Ticket Scheme

According to the Columbus Dispatch, former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Art Schlichter is in the middle of a sports-ticket scheme investigation.

Local and federal authorities are investigating a scheme that reportedly cheated numerous people out of million of dollars.

Schlichter, a former All-American quarterback at Ohio State in the late 1970s and early 80s, reportedly scammed money from people telling them that he had an “investment opportunity” for them that involved selling tickets for Ohio State football games and other big sporting events to numerous people nearly two years ago.

Schlichter then used the money collected to place bets, with some bets even getting into more than six figures.

Schlichter has had many issues with the law serving time in 44 prisons or jails for the past 17 years.
