Former Lions WR Charles Rogers To The UFL?

Charles Rogers, the #2 pick in the 2003 NFL Draft, might be launching a redemption tour in the United Football League according to ESPN reporter Jemele Hill. Hill tweeted that “Rogers is headed to the UFL” and that several UFL teams have expressed interest. This is coming hot on the heels of an Outside the Lines report regarding Rogers and his career.

He is widely regarded as a bust despite showing occasional flashes of the talent that had scouts comparing him to Randy Moss when he left Michigan State after winning the 2002 Biletnikoff Award, having 27 receiving touchdowns, and setting a Michigan State record after having 270 receiving yards in a single game.
