Former Michigan QB Tate Forcier Eyeing Miami As Transfer Spot

Former Michigan Wolverines quarterback Tate Forcier announced that he would transfer earlier this year and said Saturday that he will begin visiting his transfer choices on Monday.

Forcier is targeting Miami, Kansas State, Washington, Arizona and Montana.

Earlier this week, former Rutgers quarterback Tom Savage said that he could possibly transfer to Florida or Miami which I’m sure would play a part in his decision.

Forcier threw for 2,647 yards with 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 20 career games.

Forcier and star quarterback Denard Robinson both came in as true freshmen in 2009, a year in which Forcier started and then lost the starting job to Robinson last season.

If Forcier transfers to any school other than Montana, he would have to sit out the 2011 season.
