my brother was convicted to 3 terms of 25 years to life for what he did to a young girl and this is only fair.

What Hall has been convicted of is unexcusable. He should serve everyday of his sentence and never be allowed to have contact with any children. He has a diagnosis and is really ill. Hall in addition to his punishment needs some treatment. He may pay a very heavy price in the pen.

You know what you hear what the Media Says and the Jurys Dont even know him they looked at him saw a Black Man, Athelete,the Judged him on that GUILTY ! In five Minutes these trial usually take 2 weeks… Im an attorney Not working on Mel Hall's Case those girls were Liars on Stand changing there story and giggling they went out side the court room and high five each other and said we won we won and were laughing and sticking through tongue out at the Children of Mel how could some one be convicted of 45 years and No Evidence just here say…..Thats texas for you!!!!!! 12 years Later thats Fishy ……It was a Shame what went on…….Im an attorney and Appaulled that they ruled that …..I don't belive it…..

Yes the other comments those people wrote don't know what happened and the LIES that were told under oath I know the story and It's ashame that Mr Mel Hall had to go to Jail for those lies that the 2 Friends went to Say that they got molested …I was a student, he was great coach, put us to the best colleges and was respectful to us The girl was Jealous that her Mother was in love with MrHall and she had left her husband Not because of Mr Hall because she wanted a divorce and "S" dont want to say her name was Anrgry and got the other to say the same thing yes I got Molested Isn't funny that they claimed to get Raped" but not once they got" raped" at their home at his home, In the car ,on the Road.. Oh Wow so many places If I got Raped I would NOT go near him and ALL the other places with him and Diffenitly Not wait 10 to 12 Years Later to go to the police. You idiot. You are not a very educated lawyer, if you are a lawyer. Your grammar is embarrassing for someone who should be so educated.
As for your allegations that the girls were high-fiving and laughing in the hallway, changing their story, and sticking their tongues out at his children…That is a bold-faced lie. I was there through the entire trial. I was with those young ladies. Yes, they were extremely happy about the outcome, but they never stuck their tongues out at the children. They have zero issues with them, only Mel. The young ladies have NEVER changed their stories. As far as the girls saying they won, they did win! They should be happy and smiling. Mel is a complete creep! I know him personally and none of this surprised me at all!!!

The jury found him guilty. The young lady's mother did not leave her husband for Mel. She left for another reason. The young lady had NO reason to be jealous of anyone. Trust me when I say he gave her more than enough attention. I saw it from the beginning. Mel did not mess with every athlete he had. He chose those he knew wouldn't fight him or run and tell on him. She had no intention of ever telling any authorities. I begged her to tell for years. She went forward because another athlete who also filed charges asked her to go with her. They found out he was still doing this to young girls. Please be open and see it all as it truly is. The jury made the correct decision. I was an acquaintance of Mel's for several years.

I knew him fairly well, but cut all ties when the creepiness I felt around him never left and when I couldn't get him to stop pushing up on me. Mel is not as innocent as he appears to some people. Please keep in mind that he had to keep many people in the "dark" so that they would never believe something like this and would defend him if it were to ever come to light. He is sick but he is not stupid. He knew what he was doing.
