Former Redskins RB Rock Cartwright Signs One-Year Deal With Raiders

Former Washington Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell will have a familiar face working with him in Oakland.

Running back Rock Cartwright signed a one-year deal with the Raiders on Monday according to Chick Hernandez of CSN Washington.

Cartwright was a fan favorite while with the Redskins and filled in suitably for Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts over at certain points over the last few seasons.

The 5-foot-8 dynamo spent his entire career in Washington before being cut along with nine others on March 4.

He carried the ball 64 times for 228 yards in 2009.
