Former Tennessee State DE Richard Dent Elected To NFL Football Hall Of Fame
Former Tennessee State Tiger defensive end Richard Dent will be inducted into the Pro Bowl Hall of Fame with the Class of 2011.
Dent, a Super Bowl XX MVP, finished his career, he was third on the all-time sack list, was voted to four Pro Bowls, was named all-pro four times and won two Super Bowl rings, one with the Bears and the 49ers.
The rest of the 2011 NFL Hall of Fame Class includes cornerback Deion Sanders, running back Marshall Faulk, tight end Shannon Sharpe, contributor Ed Sabol and linebackers Chris Hanburger and Les Richter.
