After adding Brodie Croyle and Damon Huard to the injured list and having contact with free agent QB Daunte Culpepper, Carl Peterson and Herman Edwards came to the conclusion that Quinn was a better fit for the Chiefs. Quinn signed a two year deal with the Chiefs. I believe Quinn got this opportunity because he had the best game of his NFL career last year against the Chiefs completing 13 of 22 passes for 163 yards and rushed two times for 26 yards and two touchdowns.
