Gators WR Harvin Says His Ankle Is 90%; Will Play Against Sooners
Florida Gators wide receiver Percy Harvin says that his sprained right ankle is “90 percent” and will play in the BCS National Championship Game against the Oklahoma Sooners.
Harvin sat out the SEC Championship Game against the Alabama Crimson Tide after injuring his right ankle in the Gators regular season finale against in state rival Florida State Seminoles. Harvin is fully committed to playing in the National Championship game, healthy or not.
Gators quarterback Tim Tebow will need him against a stifling Sooners defense that will look to contain Tebow and his ability to run the football. Which means Tebow may have to use his arm to win the title this year.
The Gators will have plenty of weapons for Tebow to use along with the addition of Harvin in the offense makes them even more dangerous.
