Giants DE Tuck Gets Fined For Hit On QB Bollinger

New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck got fined $7,500 for a roughing the passer penalty on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Brooks Bollinger.

Reaction: The fines are just getting worse and worse. Is the NFL going bankrupt? This is absolutely ridiculous. This hit was perfectly clean and shouldn’t have drawn a penalty, let alone a fine. I say we take the pads off the quarterbacks because the hits that they take or allowed to take, can be taken without pads any day of the week. I played tackle in the street growing up and took harder hits than that without pads and I’m still walking. The NFL is a joke.

Did you see during that game it got a flag for roughing the passer and the ref said “The player used his body weight to tackle the QB”. What kind of crap is that. They might as well put the colored jersey on the QB during the games like they do at practice.
