Giants WR Mario Manningham Injured In Practice

Perhaps it was not quite an ominous sign, but the name of wide receiver Mario Manningham appeared on the Giants’ injury list after practice Wednesday. His name was not on the injury list before practice.
Manningham had limited work Wednesday because of what the Giants described as a shoulder injury. He caught 10 passes, one for a touchdown, last Sunday night in Dallas during a 33-31 victory over the Cowboys.
Missing the practice totally was Justin Tuck, the defensive end who suffered a shoulder injury at Dallas. Tuck’s status for Sunday’s game in Tampa Bay was uncertain.
After practice on Wednesday, Manningham left the locker room for treatment but returned in about 30 minutes and spoke as if he intended to play on Sunday against the Buccaneers.
