Hokies RB Darren Evans Breaks School Rushing Record
Redshirt freshman running back Darren Evans broke the single game rushing record previously held by former Virginia Tech running back Mike Imoh on Thursday night against the #23 Maryland Terrapins. Evans got 32 carries and gained 253 yards with one touchdown. More importantly the Virginia Tech Hokies beat the Terrapins 23-13 and became bowl eligible for the 16th season in a row. Evans looks to be the future in the Hokies backfield and the key to their offensive production for the rest of this season and for years to come. Now I want to see how he does against my Miami Hurricanes defense November 13th in Miami.
