Holdsclaw Leads Dream Over Silver Stars 92-84

Chamique Holdsclaw scored 21 points, 1o in the fourth quarter, to help the Atlanta Dream defeat the San Antonio Silver Stars 92-84.
The Dream are now 11-10 and are over .500 for the first time since June 19th when they were 3-2.
Izzy Castro Marques contributed with 17 points, all-star forward Sancho Lyttle scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. WNBA’s Rookie of the Month Angel McCoughtry and center Michelle Snow each scored 11 points.
This Dream win also extends their franchise record winning streak to four.
In a losing effort, the Silver Stars got big games from Becky Hammon scoring 26 points, and Sophia young scoring 23 points and nine rebounds.
It’s safe to say that the Dream are on a major playoff run.

I live in Phoenix and am surprised at how little attention this story got in the press here. I hope that whatever punishment she got she takes to heart and realizes that she has kids looking up to her and a sense of responsibility that might not be fair but it is there.
