Hornets G Chris Paul Leaves Cavaliers Game On A Stretcher

New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul was carted off the basketball court after taking a shot to the head from Cleveland Cavaliers guard Ramon Sessions. He lost the ball driving into the lane and hit his forehead on Sessions’ right shoulder.

Paul was immobilized as a precaution and wheeled off to the locker room for further examination. The latest update is that Paul is responsive, has feeling in all of his limbs and is in a neck brace right now.

The injury occured with 4:35 remaining in the third quarter after Paul had scored 13 points and had 11 assists in 26 minutes.
