Miami defensive back Ryan Hill and safety Vaughn Telemaque have been listed as “out” for Monday night’s season-opener at No. 18 Florida State.

Hill and Telemaque each suffered shoulder injuries in Saturday’s practice, the last formal workout for the Hurricanes before the opener. Each walked off the field with ice strapped to their shoulders and were examined afterward by team physicians.

Specifics of their injuries were not revealed, and the school listed them only as “upper extremity” issues.
