Jamaica’s star sprinter and defending 100-meter champion Usain Bolt was disqualified for a false start in the men’s final at the world athletics championships in Daegu, South Korea, allowing fellow-Jamaican Yohan Blake to win the gold medal.
Bolt has dominated the 100m and 200m events since winning gold at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, destorying the world record then and dominating the world championships in Berlin the following year, smashing his own world record after that.
